Dinesh Karthik On Fab-4 Debate: In the second Test being played between India and West Indies, Virat Kohli scored his 76th international century. Meanwhile, the debate about Fab-4 is going on. Now Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has given his reaction on the debate of Fab-4. Virat Kohli’s average in Test cricket has come down to 50. In such a situation, there is a debate about whether he is still a part of Fab-4 or not.

Kohli is playing the 500th international match of his career through the second Test against the West Indies. Kohli became the first player to score a century in the 500th International match. Meanwhile, while talking on ‘Cricbuzz’ about the ongoing Fab-4 debate, Dinesh Karthik said that Kohli plays all three formats. The Fab-4 includes New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Australia’s Steve Smith and England’s Joe Root along with Virat Kohli.

Dinesh Karthik said, “Virat Kohli plays in all three formats and it is going to affect his body. While Joe Root and Steve Smith mostly play only two formats, Test and ODI. Both Australia and England sometimes play more Test cricket than India, giving them the best chance to score a lot of hundreds. But looking at this player and the kind of discipline he is showing in different countries, he can easily become the batsman with the most Test hundreds in the world.”

Scored a century on foreign soil after 2018

Kohli had scored a century in 2018 on foreign soil before scoring a century in the second Test against the West Indies. Now against the West Indies, he played an inning of 121 runs in Trinidad. Kohli scored a century outside India after 1677 days and 31 innings. This was the 29th century of Kohli’s Test career.
