Manipur Violence: There is continuous uproar in Parliament regarding the Manipur violence, the opposition is demanding answers from the Modi government on this matter, while the government says that the opposition is deliberately not allowing the discussion to take place in this matter. Meanwhile, a meeting of BJP’s parliamentary party was called, in which PM Modi compared the opposition alliance INDIA with East India, now opposition leaders are replying to PM Modi regarding this matter. After Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi has also replied to PM Modi.

On questioning PM Modi’s ‘India’ alliance, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked by tweeting. He has tweeted that we are India. We will rebuild the idea of India in Manipur. Before Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also replied to PM Modi. He said, “We are talking about Manipur, the Prime Minister is calling “INDIA” as “East India Company” outside the House! Congress party has always been with ‘Mother India’ i.e. ‘Bharat Mata’. The slaves of the British were the political descendants of the BJP. Prime Minister Modi should stop diverting the attention of the country with his rhetoric.”
What did PM Modi say
In fact, amid the uproar by the opposition parties, the BJP had called a meeting of the parliamentary party. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) as the most ‘directionless’ alliance of the country so far and citing names like East India Company and Indian Mujahideen, said that people cannot be misled just by using the name of the country. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi told that the Prime Minister mentioned the behavior of the opposition and said that it is visible from his behavior that he has decided to stay in the opposition for many years to come.
