C-Voter Survey on Manipur: The violent incidents that have been going on in Manipur for almost three months are not taking the name of stopping. All efforts to end the tension between the Kuki and Meitei communities seem to have failed. Union Minister Amit Shah has also held meetings with local organisations, but at present no solution is visible to the incident.

Even in the monsoon session of Parliament, there is an uproar everyday regarding this issue. Meanwhile, a survey was conducted and people were asked their opinion on the violence in Manipur. The survey asked whether they knew what was the real reason behind the violence in Manipur. The figures that have come out in response to this are very shocking. It was seen in the statistics that the difference between how many people know the reason for violence in the state and how many do not, is very less.

Why did the fire of violence flare up in the state?
More than 142 people have died in the fire of violence that broke out in Manipur on May 3. This violence has erupted after the High Court’s decision to bring the Meitai community under the purview of Scheduled Tribes. The Kuki community is opposing this decision because they are afraid of taking away their lands.

After the ruckus in Manipur and the opposition alliance being named INDIA, C Voter has conducted an All India survey for abp news. Opinion of 2 thousand 664 people has been taken in this survey. The survey has been done on Thursday and Friday. The margin of error in this survey is plus minus 3 to plus minus 5 percent.
