Nepal Delegation India Visit: On the invitation of BJP, a five-member delegation of Nepal’s ruling party CPN-Maoist Center is coming to India for a six-day visit. This delegation will be on a visit to India from 23rd to 28th July. Less than a year is left for the next Lok Sabha elections (2024) to be held in the country. In such a situation, this visit of Nepal’s delegation is considered important.

It is a big deal for this delegation to come here as an improvement in Nepal-India relations. Nepal’s ruling party delegation will visit India under the “Know BJP” initiative. On the 43rd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, JP Nadda had announced the “Know BJP” initiative. The delegation is also coming on the visit to understand the approach and functioning of BJP.

These leaders are included in Nepal’s delegation

The purpose of this visit is to strengthen party-to-party relations. Pampha Bhushal, vice-chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Party, is leading the party’s delegation. Other members of the team include party secretary Chakrapani Khanal, standing committee member Satya Pahari and central committee members Rameshwar Yadav and Suresh Kumar Rai.

“Want friendly relations with India”

Bhushal said at the Tribhuvan International Airport just before his departure from Kathmandu to New Delhi that the purpose of our visit is primarily to strengthen party-to-party relations between the BJP and the CPN-Maoist Centre. We wish to maintain cordial relations with all parties. His party wants to establish brotherhood with China and friendly relations with India.
