Opposition Unity: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday (July 23) dismissed rumors that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is angry. In fact, after his absence from the press conference of the opposition meeting in Bengaluru on July 18, there were reports about his displeasure.
Raut said, “Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not going anywhere. It is the BJP which is spreading rumors about all this.” He said that Nitish was not present in the press conference of the opposition meeting in Bengaluru because he wanted to return to Rajgir on time.
The BJP had targeted the opposition unity for not attending Nitish Kumar’s press conference. The party had said that JDU supremo is angry and Rajgir is just an excuse.
Objection expressed regarding the name of the alliance
It was even reported that Nitish Kumar had objected to the name INDIA for the alliance of opposition parties, while earlier JDU President Rajeev Ranjan Singh ‘Lalan’ had said that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is the architect of opposition unity and the name ‘India’ was unanimously decided for the alliance in Bengaluru.
