Amogh Lila Das News: Sant Amogh Leela Das, who came into the limelight after commenting on Swami Vivekananda, apologized on Saturday (July 22). He had given a statement about Swami Vivekananda’s eating fish, after which a controversy arose. Meanwhile, he has apologized for his statement by sharing a video. He said that his intention was not to hurt anyone.
He had also commented on Swami Vivekananda’s Guru Ramakrishna Paramhans. Even on this, he has apologized and said that he apologizes to all the people and saints who have been hurt by his words. Amogh is associated with the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISCON), but was banned by ISKCON after this statement.
Amogh said, it was not the intention to hurt anyone
He has shared a video apologizing, in which he said that he neither wanted to hurt anyone nor wanted to make them feel bad. He also told that he had said this in response to a question. Amogh said, “Through this video, I apologize to all those people and saints, whose sentiments were hurt by my comments that I made about Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhans ji.”
His statements created a ruckus. Seeing the growing controversy, ISKCON also distanced itself from Amogh’s statement and said that it does not reflect the teachings and values of ISKCON. ISKCON also condemned Amogh’s statements and said that these are not only derogatory, but also show his lack of knowledge.
