Anna Hazare said on Saturday (July 22) that the criminals involved in this incident should be given death sentence. Such poor people should be hanged on the gallows. This incident is a blot on humanity.
Anna Hazare said that woman is our mother, sister. This type of behavior cannot be tolerated at all. He has misbehaved with the wife of such a person who has been standing on the border to protect the country. Such an act with the wife of a soldier is a very serious matter. Women paraded naked in Manipur
Significantly, on May 4, two tribal women were paraded naked in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district. During this, the relatives of these women were murdered and it is alleged that they were also raped. A 26-second video of this incident came to the fore on Wednesday. After which there was anger in the whole country.
One of these women is the wife of an ex-serviceman of the Indian Army. Who served as Subedar in the Assam Regiment and also participated in the Kargil War. In this case, the police have arrested six people including the main accused.
6 arrested including a minor
Manipur Police has informed by tweeting on Saturday that today one more accused was arrested. A total of six people, including five main accused and a juvenile, have been arrested so far. In Manipur, on May 3, ethnic violence started between Kuki and Meitai community over the demand of Scheduled Tribe status of Meitai community. In which more than 160 people have died so far.
